Detectomat and simax voice alarms: joining forces for the future

Detectomat Systems GmbH, a member of the DEF Network, has acquired simax electronics GmbH. The sales and marketing divisions will begin working together closely from the very start in order to optimise our joint product portfolio.

Our new colleagues at simax electronics GmbH, based in Aachen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, are contributing their high-quality products, unique expertise and many years of experience. simax was established in 1999, and both its site in Aachen and the simax brand will remain unchanged.

The two businesses will be led by Gangolf Luerweg as Managing Director. Mike Bohl, authorised signatory and Sales Director for Detectomat Systems GmbH, will be responsible for coordinating sales and marketing for simax. The former Managing Director of simax, Eric Plum, will continue to serve as Technical & Operations Director for the business.

Our expanded range of system components in the field of SEP/VAC (sound systems for emergency purposes / voice alarm systems) offers customers a high level of confidence when planning large or small buildings. It also delivers regulatory-compliant designs even for complex systems by combining fire detection technology and VAPA systems.

Coordinating our product development, delivering rapid implementation processes and working towards shared goals are the right way forward for us. We will keep you informed about our latest innovations and our constantly growing range of services via our Detectomat website. In the medium term, the website will contain all products from voice alarm system divisions.
